Alvarez won't leave City for a few reasons.
1. Pep loves him and how versatile he is, Alvarez can play on both wings, as a CAM or in the striking role by himself or paired with someone, I really doubt Pep will let someone like that go.
2. He has stated he loves being at City
3. He said himself that he loves learning from Haaland about how to move, what to look for and how to always improve
4. I'm sure Pep sees him in the future as a starter but since it's his first season in a top club he needs to get used to Pep first
5. recently re-signed him until 2028
6. City will command a fee of over 100 million
